Editor’s Note

July 8, 2016

It’s July, which means we’re already past the halfway mark for 2016. It hasn’t been a year without its challenges, but it has certainly had its fair share of success. On 9 June, iFacts hosted its inaugural Employee Risk Conference at the Focus Rooms conference venue.

Despite the chilly morning, the event was a huge success, with Jenny Reid offering expert advice on employee screening to attendees. Keynote speaker, Shani Krebs, author of the best-selling memoir, Dragons and Butterflies, shared his harrowing life journey that included a 16-year stint in one of the world’s most dangerous prisons for drug smuggling.

On behalf of everyone at iFacts we’d like to thank everyone for their support in ensuring the success of the event and we sincerely look forward to hosting our next conference in 2017.
