Jenny and Staff
Jenny Reid is the CEO of iFacts, one of the leading people screening and background checking services providers in South Africa today. Based on the premise that removing the people risk will ultimately help organisations to prosper, iFacts ensures that companies thrive with honest, ethical and productive employees and services providers.
In 1995 Jenny joined the security industry at an investigations firm, where she was ultimately appointed as Managing Director. During this time she was also the first woman to ever be appointed as President of the Security Association of South Africa. iFacts started in 2001 and Jenny bought it out 100% in 2009 and developed a comprehensive range of human resources services, all designed to help organisations get the best out of their employees.
Never content to rest on here laurels, Jenny has taken the iFacts brand and turned it into a global concern with branches all over the world. Jenny is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to ensure companies maintain true value in their organisation and enhance it. Together with a network of valuable partner relationships, iFacts offers a complete human resources solution.
Jenny’s strong leadership style and outspoken views on corporate crime and political corruption have made her a highly sought after local and international conference speaker. Her determination, enthusiasm and energy has made her a stand out role model in the industry where she has become an inspiration and mentor to other women entrepreneurs. Her solid experience gets her respect, while her fearless attitude is admired by her peers, the media and clients.
Jenny is also the co-founder of Adventures for Love, an organisation made up of like-minded women who embark on a number of physical adventures around the globe to raise awareness and funds for various charities and conservation efforts. Jenny lives in Johannesburg with her husband, Neil, and has two sons, Brad and Craig.
As the General Manager at iFacts, Sonya’s responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of the company at an executive level. From marketing and sales to finance and administration, Sonya helps ensure that the business is strengthened through new products, operational systems skills, and consistent development.
Sonya and her team are always seeking effective corporate security strategies for iFacts clients that will help develop their businesses while reducing risk and ensuring the introduction of proactive and innovative solutions for the future.
Sonya is a client-driven professional, putting the needs of clients first by ensuring that iFacts offers the exceptional service that the brand is renowned for in the industry.
Joining the company as a Client Liaison Manager in 2010, she showed an affinity for dealing with clients in a personal and positive manner, developing strong interpersonal skills. After stellar contributions to iFacts, she was
promoted to the position of General Manager in early 2012.
Her strengths lie in ensuring clear communication, satisfaction, and efficiency for all iFacts clients. Sonya’s additional responsibilities include brand development, operational systems, and marketing strategies.
Sonya holds a diploma in Hotel Management. Her previous experience includes positions at well-known and prestigious hotel chains and exclusive boutique guest houses during her tenure in the hospitality industry. Sonya’s first-hand experience includes running her own bed and breakfast for five years with her husband, Craig, and their three sons.
