Jenny Reid
Director of iFacts & The Orange
Jenny Reid, Director of iFacts, is a pioneer of methodologies used to ensure executives and
employees are secure in their environment and companies have honest, ethical, loyal and
productive employees.
Jenny started in the security industry in 1995, working her way through the ranks, ultimately
becoming the Managing Director of Griffiths Reid. Through her leadership, the company
flourished from merely an investigations organisation into a security solutions corporation.
They were the first supplier of independent security solutions ensuring that loyalty was always
to the client and not the supplier of the security service. In 2009 Jenny started The Orange
specializing in employee screening and wellbeing. This division has been developed into a
company providing comprehensive services to ensure employees are safe and secure as well as
honest. Recently she joined forces with Nicholls, Steyn & Associates, South Africa’s foremost
executive protection company, which offers specialized security services to local and global
clients.
Jenny is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to ensure companies maintain true
value in their organisation and enhance it.
Jenny has recently been re-elected as the President of the Security Association of South Africa.
She was the first female to hold the rank of President in 40 years, having been first elected in
2005.
